Travel and Accommodation

Although Merida is 1,510 Km from Mexico City, it is very easy to get there:

• By air to Merida: the International Airport Manuel Crescencio Rejón is just 15 minutes from the center of Merida. A flight from Mexico City takes approximately 40 minutes. 
  
  
  
• By coach: it takes approximately 20 hours from Mexico City. The coaches depart from Terminal de Autobuses Poniente Oriente (TAPO), Calzada Ignacio Zaragoza 200, Colonia 10 de mayo, Distrito Federal. 
  
  
  
• By air to Cancun and bus to Merida: it takes approximately 3 hours by bus from Cancun International Airport.

Merida's climate is warm and humid with maximum and minimum temperatures of 33°C and 18°C respectively. The rainy season is from June to October.
